Biography: First team USILA All-America selection, was the recipient of the Lt. Donald C. MacLaughlin, Jr. Award as the nation’s best midfielder. He led the Orange with 78 ground balls and 31 caused turnovers. He ranked seventh in the nation in caused turnovers with a 2.07 average and ranked 15th with a 5.2 ground ball per game average.

Professional Career:
Was drafted 2nd overall in the 2011 MLL draft by the Rochester Rattlers.

Collegiate career:
Senior Year (2011): Named to the USILA All-America First Team and picked as a Tewaaraton Award finalist for the second year in a row … All-BIG EAST First Team selection … Team co-captain … Played in all 17 games as the team’s primary long-stick midfielder … Also manned the wing on faceoffs … Key member of a Syracuse unit that ranked third nationally in scoring defense (6.90 goals per game) and set a school record for man-down defense efficiency, leading the nation at 81.7 percent … Led the team in ground balls (79) and finished second in the BIG EAST in ground balls per game (4.65) … Averaged 5.9 ground balls over the team’s last eight games … Paced the Orange with 30 caused turnovers on the season.

Team USA (Summer 2008): Helped lead the U.S. U-19 National Team to the gold medal and a 7-0 record at the 2008 International Lacrosse Federation (ILF) World Championship in Coquitlam, British Columbia … first shutout in U.S. U-19 history as the Americans defeated Japan in pool play, 27-0.

Freshman Year (2008): Played in all 18 games as Syracuse’s top long-stick midfielder … Third on the team with 63 ground balls … He also scored three goals and had an assist … Notched his first career goal at Hobart.
